Mike Wheeler is a brilliant staple in the Chicago blues community, playing and writing songs for many Chicago artists including, Nellie Tiger Travis, Peaches Staten, Sam Cockrell, Demetria Taylor, Big Ray & Cadillac Dave. He has travelled the world as an ambassador for Chicago blues music... Monaco, France, Switzerland, Spain and Belgium, just to name a few. He's also shared the stage with the most elite musicians the world has ever known, including Willie Kent, Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, George Benson, Jimmy Johnson and Shemekia Copeland. Mike was inducted in the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame in 2014. Crazy good blues!
Born in Chicago but raised in the south, Luke Repass is a self-taught guitarist who specializes in engaging and captivating crowds with his unique style and overwhelming talent. Luke is a professional musician who strives to wow audiences every show. Whether a small bar on the south side, an extravagant Blues club on the northside, or music festivals throughout the nation, Luke never fails to give his all, along with his band mates. Fantastic. Don't miss him!
Al “Hurricane” Spears is a working Chicago blues musician currently playing guitar with “The Hurricane Project”. He can often be spotted at the Chicago Blues staples like Buddy Guy’s Legends, Kingston Mines and Rosa’s Lounge delivering a slow blues groove or an explosive thundering guitar solo. For Hurricane, the blues is a way of life. He’s developed a strong style that could be described as a mixture of jazz and blues with an edge.
One of the busiest blues outfits in Chicagoland, the Smiley Tillmon Band is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. There’s an obvious reason why the veteran guitarist’s booking schedule is so jam-packed: Smiley knows how to have a good time and makes sure his audience does too. After 55 years on the local blues scene, Tillmon serves up the blues and soul standards that people never seem to stop craving, his rich vocals and fluid guitar backed by a band that keeps his grooves tight and right.Born Moses Tillmon in rural Jefferson County, Georgia, Smiley grew up on a hearty musical diet of gospel, country, and a little blues.
Formed in 2013, The Corey Dennison Band has become a favorite attraction at Chicago blues venues, including twice-weekly appearances at Kingston Mines. Led by Corey Dennison’s soulful voice and muscular guitar, the band released its self-titled studio debut for the legendary Delmark Records in 2016.
The strength of the band’s repertoire is matched only by the charisma of the stage show; it’s not uncommon to see Corey belting out the blues, unamplified, in the heart of the audience while the band steps in time to the groove. It’s exactly where they want to be.
Vivacious and exuberant, SHERYL YOUNGBLOOD is a force to behold on and offstage. This Chicago Blues Hall-Of-Famer embraces you with warmth of a lifetime of singing Gospel, R&B and the Blues in her ballads and at the peak of her rockin' soul performances, knocks the walls down. This top tier vocalist and drummer fronts brilliant musicians and always gives her audience a show they won't forget!

260 Howard Avenue, Des Plaines, IL 60018. We do encourage Uber / Lyft, etc. For many reasons... safety, limited parking, etc.
Unfortunately, no. No furry friends allowed on event dates. We all love them and just want to keep them safe.
All parking is FREE. We have SOME parking in our lot, and there is some street parking. Other neighboring businesses are letting us park in their lots as well. That being said, Uber and Lyft are great options, or even dusting off the ol' two wheeler?
This is a rain or shine event so please come prepared. There will be no refunds on tickets sold unless the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Heck yes. We don't have a ton for them to do, so that's on you, but my kids will be there. Kids 12 and under are free. Under 21... grab a kids ticket please.
Yes. We will scan your ticket and issue a wristband. Once you have your wristband on, you are free to come and go through out the day (same day only). Of course it goes without saying, don't lose your wristband or you're screwed. Just kidding. We'll do our best to get you back in, we just like saying, "You're screwed."
Tickets are voided once they are used.
